Lisinopril is used to treat high blood pressure and can be taken alone or in combination with other medications. The medicine can also be used in combination with other medications to treat heart failure. Sometimes doctors prescribe Lisinopril to improve survival after a heart attack. Lisinopril lies is in a class of medications known as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Precautions Before taking Lisinopril,

OverDose If you have taken the overdose of medicine, consult your doctor immediately as it may cause harm to your body. Some possible symptoms are lightheadedness and fainting.
Missed Dose If you have missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time to take the next dose, skipped the missed dose and continue your dosage as scheduled. Do not take a double dose to compensate for a missed one.
Storage Properly store the medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at normal room temperature and protect from the excess heat and moisture.
